Verizon officially announces the Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Samsung Galaxy Nexus has been announced earlier in Hong Kong but no more detailed information about the official carriers will be selling this device. Until October 21st, Verizon has made an official press release confirming that the flagship Android superphone will be available on 4G LTE network in the Big Red. Unfortunately the press release, does not mention the exact price and release date.

Here are the Samsung Galaxy Nexus specs mentioned at the press release : 4.65″ HD Super AMOLED (1280 x 720) display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 4G LTE connectivity, 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, NFC-capabilities, Google mobile services (Android Market, Maps etc), WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
